Meet William

For William Parker, Samaritan Health Center has been a place of transformation.

Referred in November 2022 by Restorative Transitions, he found more than medical care—he found peace of mind and the knowledge to improve his health. “I wouldn’t have known about my cholesterol or vertigo. I would’ve let it go because I couldn’t afford to see a doctor,” William explains. “You’ve kept me on track and attentive to my health and family history. That gives me the assurance to move forward.”

At Samaritan, William has accessed services ranging from glasses and bloodwork to lung X-rays, flu and COVID vaccinations, and physical therapy referrals. He praises the clinic for its quick responses—like scheduling an urgent knee visit within 40 minutes—and its commitment to patient education. “You take the time to explain lab results and answer questions,” he says. “It’s hard to know where you’re at if you don’t know the lingo.”

For William, Samaritan’s respectful, welcoming environment stands out. “It’s Christian-based, but everyone’s perspective is respected. Just because your belief isn’t the same doesn’t mean you can’t come here and be treated with dignity.”

He calls Samaritan his “place of help and medical assistance,” crediting the clinic for his improved health and confidence. “I more than appreciate this place. My peace of mind came from coming here.”
